When it becomes clear that stretching is a rewarding endeavor, you begin to pay attention to your breathing. During classes, the teacher often tells us to watch and control our breathing. And it turned out that it is not so simple. In life you never think about how exactly you breathe, so during classes it is quite difficult to focus on the process of inhalation and exhalation. Besides, you constantly think about whether you crossed your legs correctly... There’s no time for breathing, in general.

Breathing is the basis of yoga. This is the first thing you should pay attention to when performing asanas. And then on their correctness and accuracy. It is breathing that allows you to tune in to the right mood and engage in practice. There are several respiratory systems. For example, belly breathing, or abdominal breathing. But during classes, we most often breathe through the chest, slowly and measuredly. Watch how deeply you inhale and exhale. And make sure that the exhalation is longer than the inhalation.

When you breathe deeply, the brain, chest and abdominal cavity are saturated with oxygen, and the internal organs receive a gentle natural massage. It is beneficial for the whole body.
