Yoga is a complex phenomenon, so joint flexibility and body plasticity are just part of what we work on in our classes. It is not at all necessary to have good stretching when you are just starting out. Quite the contrary, lack of stretching is a great reason to start doing yoga.

When you breathe deeply, the brain, chest and abdominal cavity are saturated with oxygen, and the internal organs receive a gentle natural massage. It is beneficial for the whole body.

But I wouldn’t recommend combining yoga with strength and aerobic exercise. The main thing is to have the right mindset for the lesson. Eat one and a half to two hours in advance, no later, the food should be satisfying, but not heavy.
